Always the best Korean bbq spot in town for me. Meats are all flavorful and atmosphere and service is always good even when busy. Would recommend joining the waitlist ahead of arrival if going on evening/night that is busier than usual, then check in upon arrival and usually you get seated not too long after. I prefer the dinner AYCE menu here as they have more galbi options like royal galbi and the seafood tofu soup.
Delicious KBBQ experience! Came here for a little anniversary day lunch, my wife loves some KBBQ. We did the AYCE which is priced really well especially for the lunch price. The sides are all pretty decent, would have liked kimchi cucumbers instead of the radish stuff they offer, but not a big deal. Appetizers were fine, we did crispy green beans and pot stickers, decent but we were mostly focused on saving our appetite to pound down more meat. Really nice selection of meats, Oz galbi was our favorite by far, really really good, sliced pork belly in garlic marinade and chadol also good. Little robot brings some of your food out which was cool, but the human servers were really awesome and very friendly. Fresh fried sesame balls made for a nice dessert. Looking forward to the new Oz opening in Folsom/Palladio!
We come here at least once a month. It is so worth the price in our opinion (which isn't even steep for AYCE!) The portions are small so you can get a taste of everything. Our favorite is the Royal Galbi! For the most part, all of our servers have been good. If they're busy it might take a while but the whole concept of it and how busy they get, I understand. Make sure you add yourself to the waitlist if you can!
The magic is back! Excellent experience and a fantastic meal! Todays visit proved that Oz is still a great place to eat! We've been coming here for years and loving it! We plan to continue eating here and I'm already planning our next visit! I am a believer in supporting local business and i don't mind driving an hour, one way, to eat here! I enjoy walking in much more than I enjoy wobbling out, but it's a great meal in a fun atmosphere to the very gluttonous end! Trang was today's table superstar! She was friendly, prompt and provided excellent service! We were very happy with her as our server. We wanted for nothing! There were a few other people who came by our table to check on us and they were very friendly, as well! Even the robot did a good job! "I'm here!" P.S. the young man named Tyson was doing an excellent job at keeping the tables clean and ready for the next party. I watched him thoroughly check the tables for cleanliness and straighten things up as he quickly bounced around anywhere that he was needed! He didn't stop moving the whole time we were there! Again, this is a fantastic experience with excellent food! Highly recommended!
I can't tell you enough how much I love Oz. It's my favorite Korean BBQ all you can eat place ever. I've been to places in LA and in SF. And maybe I'm going to the wrong places but they never ever hit close to how much I love OZ. Food 5/5 (Favs: Soy Garlic SamGyupSal, Bulbilgi, Oz Galbi, Cheese corn and you have to order the jalapeno soy sauce.) Customer service 5/5 Always great unless they're busy which is understandable because it can be pretty busy hectic in there The ambiance is great. K-pop music and people enjoying the food! The smoke can be a bit much so if you have breathing problems then it can be a bit of an issue. I love it - try it and maybe you'll love it too!
Tried Oz Korean BBQ last night and overall it was a good experience. The estimated wait time for our Saturday evening was around 45-65 minutes so we joined the waitlist ahead of time and the estimated seating time was between 8:31-8:51 as an estimate. I appreciate that they offer this option, especially since they can get busy during peak hours. We ended up getting a table right at around 9pm, so in total, wait time was 75 minutes. PROS: The service was great and food came out quickly. The meat cuts were also good. They offer many options for my preferences (I'm somewhat of a picky eater when it comes to proteins). The spicy thin pork belly, spicy brisket, and thin pork belly were personal faves. The shrimp! I appreciate that it was peeled and headless (not an option at some other KBBQ places). The sides - they were plentiful and delicious. The desserts, I'm not a sesame ball fan but they were decent. Where they are excelling (IMO) is with those taiyakis! They are SO good!! By far the best dessert of the KBBQ places I've been to. CONS: The wait - they have offered what they can to accommodate this issue but there are other KBBQ places that I feel are comparable with no wait times. The sauces - I hesitate to call this a "con" but I can do without the sesame oil and jalapeño soy. I think the OZ white sauce and teriyaki sauces were better. I didn't feel we got enough teriyaki, and I would have liked to have some salt or MSG as well for the non-marinated proteins. The spicy beef bulgogi was kinda fatty and difficult to chew when cooked, but the favor was good (just wouldn't order again). The appetizers - I enjoyed what we ordered, but you could get more choices elsewhere. I will say the green beans were a pleasant surprise. The lettuce wraps are $2.50 (compared to $1 elsewhere), and fried rice isn't an option, only white rice. All in all our experience was good and we enjoyed what we ate. It was priced comparatively to other KBBQ places in the area. The strong place that I feel this place is better than its peers is with the dessert. However the wait times and similar options and pricing won't have me choosing this places over others. Still giving 5 stars because it is 5 star worthy IMO, but I'm likely gonna go elsewhere to avoid waiting, get reward points offerings, and receive mil discount. Just my preference...
We came right at 11am on a Monday for lunch AYCE KBBQ. The parking is very easy since it has a designated lot. It looks like they're doing some renovation in the front waiting area. We were quickly seated and asked if we were there for AYCE or bento boxes. Even this early in the day in a weekday there were a couple other patrons. The menu is a QR code on the table. I appreciate that the server asked if there are any of the banchan that we don't want. That helps them from being wasteful. Each round you can order three proteins. The portions sizes were appropriate for one person per protein. The exception being the ribeye was quite big. That nice because you can try more meats and if you find something you like then order more. Lettuce wraps were $2.50 per plate. The other sides like rice paper and miso paste were included. We ordered the bulgogi, spicy bulgogi, beef belly, rib eye, mussels, fried green beans, and spicy wings. We ordered three rounds and got the grill changed once. I enjoyed all the meats. My favorites would be the beef belly and the bulgogi. The order of mussels was four. So that's perfect for sharing with one other person. We initially had some trouble with the grill not being hot enough. But the service was great. People and robot. The people got the orders correct and checked on us a good amount of times. All the orders were correct. The robot is a pretty cool addition! I haven't seen those robots before. Great experience here. It's more affordable than other KBBQ places. I think the lunch price was $25 for adults. This was my second time here and I'll be back next time I'm in the area.
Went here recently. Forgot to review. Service can be a little slow even with the robot. But overall it was good. Bartender makes really good drinks
Heyo! My partner and I came here for dinner. Con's first, We arrived and were quoted about 15 minutes but we wait about 35. We thought it was weird the smaller parties had to wait for the larger parties to go first but nbd. I know they may have put their name down first but might help to sit smaller parties or have section tables for the 2 tops because (ideally) they'll eat and get up faster. But also we were told we had 2 hours so maybe people be taking advantage lol. For the food we were unsure the mushrooms we ordered were rinsed. They don't serve ciders at the bar, a not bad thing, just an FYI for ya. Staff were friendly and helpful!!. You get the choice of 3 starters, 3 proteins and a veggie you can interchange them after each round. We ate so much and tried many different proteins, mainly the beefs, some chicken -all delicious!!!!. Our server was very attentive, thank you!
Oz Korean BBQ 3343 Bradshaw Rd, Sacramento, CA 95827 This place gets busy, so I recommend checking in online. The wait can sometimes be up to an hour and a half. While waiting, we enjoyed a few drinks at the bar, which made the wait easier. We had a group of 10, and they took care of us with two grills. They start you off with three items and some veggies. All the veggies and meat were fresh and tasty. One thing I disliked was the charge for lettuce. They have a robot server that brings you more food when you order it, with your table number on the plates. I would recommend this place to friends and family.
